General Background

1964-74: Securities Business

Mr. Goldberg entered the Securities Business in 1964 with J. Barth & company, a regional New York Stock Exchange firm, as a retail municipal and corporate bond broker. In 1966, he became an institutional municipal and corporate bond broker, servicing the pension fund, commercial bank and insurance company bond portfolios. In 1967, he was asked by Shearson Hamill & Co., a New York based New York Stock Exchange firm, to head their Institutional Bond Department, which encompassed servicing the major United States institutions and overseeing the corporate and municipal trading desks.

1974-84: Real Estate Broker and Consultant

Principal of Julian Goldberg & Associates, a Los Angeles based brokerage and consulting firm to major institutions such as pension funds, insurance companies and banks for their purchase of single tenant triple net leased properties. Goldberg & Associates completed transactions to these institutions in excess of 3 billion dollars U.S.D.

1984-Present: Real Estate Investment Principal

President of Los Angeles based Goldberg, Allen, Lane & Lothrop, Inc., a real estate investment firm specializing in the purchase of single tenant triple net leased real estate worldwide. To date, the firm and its various partnerships have purchased approximately 260 properties with an aggregate value in excess of 4 billion dollars U.S.D. The firm is the second largest purchaser of Wal-Marts in the United States with 48 stores purchased. In the last decade the firm has become one of the select few in the United States to specialize in the purchase of single tenant triple net leased properties. Approximately ninety percent of the transactions are with investment grade tenants with leases ranging from 15 to 25 years in length. The reputation of the firm is such that many of the Fortune 500 companies have contacted the firm directly to structure and purchase their sale and leaseback transactions.

1994-Present: Real Estate Investment Principal

Managing member of Lease Back Partners specializing in the purchase of net leased properties.

1999-Present: Loan Origination

Founder and Principal of LBG Global Funding providing funding on a global basis for credit institutions and Sale-Lease Back/Plus a proprietary funding structure.
